Netherlands University Student Discount

Dear Spotify,

I have recently moved from the United States to the Netherlands to become a student again at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. I cancelled my premium account in order to resubscribe to a Student Discount account. However when I tried to subscribe, only U.S. schools were listed by SheerID. How can I resubscribe with a Dutch student account?

The student discount is currently only available in United States, United Kingdom and Germany.

Hi MattSuda,

Sadly, I can only choose Germany or GB when I wanna change the country in UNiDAYS. Hence, I cannot choose my Dutch university. What to do?

Update: I just received the following answer from UNiDAYS facebook page:

"Hi, the Spotify offer is not currently available in the Netherlands from UNiDAYS. We appreciate this will be disappointing news for you. Thank you for your enquiry ^Andy"

If that is the case, why does spotify still market the premium offer for 50% off on their homepage?
