New mac book – second account since login. Only need one! Playlists missing...

Hey there!

I just started working on my new mack book air (all back-up went well) and then logged into spotify. 

 

My problem is: I have a second account now, consisting of numbers. It shows my "recently played" history, but all my playlist are gone and my friends as well... What happened? How can I get back to my real and original profile? I don't like to have two accounts as well... Thanks a lot for your help in advance...!

Hey @daisydedo,

 

Welcome to the Spotify Community and thanks for reaching out about this.

 

If you remember and have access to the email address associated with your 'first' Spotify, you can also access the account by:

 

  1. Logging out the 'second' account
  2. Clicking here and resetting the password of the 'first' account by receiving the related steps on the email address associated with the account
  3. Logging back in to your 'first' account with your new password and the right email address as you open the app on your MacBook.
