New to Spotify - help!

So I just signed up for spotify and so far it's not going very well. 

For one, I signed in through facebook and it doesn't have the correct email connected with my account. Is there a way to change that? I want spotify related emails sent to my primary email. 

Then there's the issue of my username. Spotify has assigned me this insane jumble of numbers and letters as a username and I can't for the life of me figure out how to change it. To top it off I have yet to receive a password set email....so I currently don't have a password. 

Can anyone tell me how to get my account in order? I'm incredibly confused.

Welcome to the Community and to Spotify!

Since you signed up through Facebook, you will have to use the email address of your Facebook account as your Spotify account email - It's currently not possible to change it.

Your username are random numbers because you've signed up through FB. Unfortunately, usernames can't be changed at the moment but you can support this Idea here. You don't need to set a password for Spotify since you're using Facebook to sign into it 🙂
