No access to Spotify account – password and email password unknown (active Premium subscription)

Hello everyone,

I no longer have access to my Spotify account and I’m currently stuck in the recovery process.

Issue:

• I don’t remember my Spotify password.

• I can’t reset it via “Forgot password” because I also no longer have access to the email address linked to the account (email password is unknown as well).

• This blocks the standard account recovery flow.

Important:

• There is an active Premium subscription running on this account.

• I am therefore unable to cancel the subscription, and creating a new account is not a viable solution.

• The account was used normally by me; there are no signs of unauthorized access.

• I am willing to verify ownership of the account (payment method, billing history, devices used, etc.).

Question:
What options are available in this situation to regain access to the account or to cancel/manage the active Premium subscription without access to the registered email?

I understand how frustrating it could be getting charged without being able to use the account. If you no longer have access to the email address registered to your Spotify account, I'd recommend getting in touch with Customer Support (you can find their contact link here). They can assist further with updating the email address for your Spotify account so that you can log in or cancel your subscription.
