Hi there,

Thanks for getting in touch. We're sorry to hear that you're having issues resetting your password for a while now. No worries, we're here to help.

We can change the email address associated to your account XXXXXXXX if you're not receiving the password reset link. We'll be just needing thye following security details:

  • Last 4 digits of your credit card / PayPal Invoice ID
  • Date of birth registered on the account
  • Zip / postal code registered on the account

We know that these information is very important to you, but we can assure you that our top priority is the security of our customer's account.

Further, just follow these steps for you to change your password if you've forgotten it.

  1. Go to the password reset page.
  2. Enter your email address or Spotify username in Email address or username
  3. Check your email inbox for the reset link and follow the instructions. If you don’t see an email in your inbox, check your spam or junk folders.

Why do i have to supply DOB and credit card payment details? I have an active account and these details are already provided.

 

I just want to know why i cant reset my password, why i am not receiving emails.

 

I want this rectified in real time!!!!!

 

I have had enough of moving on the infinite loop of recieving similar emails, such as the one above, and then another several days later being asked to provide a pat on the back for a job well done by customer (dis)service.

 

Is anyone having this same problem???!!!

Hey @pauleustance,

 

Unfortunately, Spotify Support needs to verify your account ownership before they'll be able to change your account's email address so you can start using your account again.
