No facebook friends to follow?

So the issue I have is that after a long stretch of utilizing itunes I am switching to spotify. I signed up for premium and connected my facebook account to spotify, but it only shows one person. I find that hard to believe considering I have 1200 friends on facebook and all of my friends utilize spotify. 

So I uninstalled the desktop app and logged into my facebook account to remove access to facebook/spotify. I reinstalled and logged in with my username/password and reconnected facebook to spotify only to find the same problem.

I also did some background checks with apps on my user profile page and it does not show facebook as an app that is approved to share my spotify information. It shows other apps such as discord and spotify community, but nothing for Facebook. I feel that this is the problem, but I have no idea how to fix it.

First of all I'd try 1 more time to log out on all devices, unlink all accounts and then login and link all accounts/services again.

If it still hasn't worked then it could possibly be that while a large proportion of your friends do use spotify, only 1 has actually linked their spotifywith their facebooks. You should ask some of your friends if they have linked it, and if it doesn't then contact spotify.

I am having the exact same problem. However I want to add that following the one friend then displays the next available friend to follow alphabetically. For some reason Spotify is only displaying one person at a time while having Facebook friend information.
