No longer a facebook user

Hi..

I killed my FB account and I guess I was using it to log on to spotify, now Spotify wants me to continue to use facebook to log in or change my password via facebook.  Any way around this?

Hey 🙂 

Unfortunately, if you created your Spotify account using Facebook you need to keep your Facebook active in order to continue using that account for Spotify. There is no way to seperate your Spotify account from your Facebook if you created your account that way. 

You will need to create a brand new account (without Facebook) and then get in touch with customer services so they can move your playlists and subscriptions over to your new account for you. For help doing this and to get in touch with customer services, send them a message using the online contact form.

I deleted my facebook account, but cannot sign up for spotify because the email I want to use is already registered. How do I "unregister" that email address so that I can sign up with it. I am currently using an unreliable email address just to register this complaint.
