No payment method

No payment method

Hi everyone,

 

When I look at my subscription page it says that there's no payment provider connected. 

Before I paid with Credit card but since iDEAL is available in the Netherlands I changed the payment method at the 4th of December.

 

When I saw this message, I changed the payment method again to iDEAL, but it keeps telling me "You do not currently have a payment provider connected to your account."

 

You people know some more about this?

Hello: Do you by chance have to do anything special with iDEAL by adding you spotify account to link with them first in order for the payment method to be reconized and tied to your spotify account correctly?

When you choose iDEAL as payment method it links you to the site of your bank account. When you're there, you are asked to pay €0,01 to verify your bank account. I did and Spotify gave me back the €0,01 one day later. This means my bank account is now 'connected' to my Spotify account. On the 5th of December it showed that iDEAL was my provider, but now it shows that there's no payment provider and I didn't change anything. I hope the 24th of December while renewing it will not give any problems.

The best thing wait until the 24th and if the payment does not go through well you should contact CS, you know how to I suppose correct? 🙂

The web page says I have paid but the method field is empty and nothing is charged by ideal, seems like Spotify premium for free

When I log on to my bank account today, I can see an collection scheduled for the 6th of January. Seems they'll get my payment anyway
