Could you confirm the steps you're following to log in and the error you're getting? Also, please confirm the following so I can guide you better:

 

  • Account type (Free/Premium)
  • Device and operating system (e.g. MacBook Air, 10.10 OSX)
  • Spotify app version
  • Any screenshots/screen recordings that help explain or illustrate the issue

Hope you don't mind us replying in English.

Could you tell us more about your issue? Does it only occur with the Facebook login and do you get any error messages?
If yes - what do they say?

If you wish to go down that road, what I'd suggest as a workaround is creating a Spotify password to log in with your email address instead! 🙂

To do so:

  1. Go to our password reset form.
  2. Enter your Facebook email address
  3. Check your inbox for an email from us to reset your password

Tengo el mismo problema. No puedo conectarme con mi cuenta de Facebook a Spotify, después de una actualización de iOS en Iphone, pues cambié mi contraseña de facebook y al usar la opción en spotify de iniciar sesión con Facebook me dice "Las contraseñas no coinciden". 

Solicité recuperar contraseña con el mismo correo que tengo en Facebook y me llega el correo, pero al iniciar sesión con este me envía a una cuenta no nueva, no la premium que tenía con facebook. ¿Qué puedo hacer?

Thanks for posting in the thread. Hope you don't mind us replying in English, as it's the official language on the Community.

 

Just to check, are you able to log in to your Premium account using the option Continue with Facebook on any other devices that you use Spotify on? Make sure that you're also logged into your Facebook account on that device when you're trying to sign in.

 

Since you mentioned that you managed to log into another account, it sounds like you might have 2 different Spotify accounts. In this case, we recommend double-checking any other email addresses that you might have used to register an account. Please have a look at the points on this page for more info on what to do next.

Hello, thank you very much for responding.

 

The problem was already solved by an executive who spoke with me on Facebook, since I was accused of using Spotify content illegally, which was a lie since I only use it normally.

 

Just a suggestion. If the Spotify company decided to block an account for "suspected misuse", they should inform the user that they are paying for a premium account. Well, I spent several weeks looking for the solution to the problem, and I didn't find it until now, week 6 since the service was blocked.
