Non student being charged student price ...

Non student being charged student price ...

This is a bit complicated and I can't figure out any way to fix it.  Here's the story:

I used to have the student discount.  Then I graduated and I started paying full price again.  But then a few months later I switched banks but did not update the payment information on my account.  Then when I go into my account and try to update my payment info, the page says I am being billed 4.99 a month for my student discount.  Then I am directed to a student verification page.  But since I'm not a student anymore, I cannot do anything.  I am stuck at this point.  Am I going to have to delete my account and re-sign up?

Hey @user-removed,

I believe that you can fix this by cancelling your current subscription and then re-subscribing to Premium at https://spotify.com/premium.

Hope this helps. 🙂

Okay thanks, do you know if I will lose my playlists? Or how not to?

No, you won't lose your stuff when your account's subscription changes - Only offline music will be removed from your device(s) but you can just re-download it when you are subscribed to Premium again. 🙂
