Not able to select my country of residence

 I recently moved to Sri Lanka and I am unable to modify the country in my account. ( I use  free Spotify).

in fact, there are no country in the list, expect for the one where I was living before (Malta)

perhaps you know why I can’t chose any country but Malta?

Hi @Stivale, thanks for writing!

You should be able to change your country as long as the IP address you are changing it from geo-locates to the correct one.

Does http://whatismyipaddress.com/ report your IP address is in Sri Lanka?

Yes, it shows Colombo (Sri Lanka). But still I am not able to change the country in my account...

Hey @Stivale,

In this case I suggest that you try a clean reinstall of Spotify to see if this fixes the problem:

Also, make sure there's no VPN installed in your computer.

No, nothing...still unable to change the country. I eliminated and reinstalled the app but nothing...I also did the updates of the IPhone. Shame...

Just wanted to jump in with some additional info to what @Bittencourt had already suggested.

If you moved to a country where Spotify hasn't launched yet, you won't be able to change the country settings to that country. Check out this support page to see a list of all the countries where Spotify is available.
