Not eligible for Student discount?

I am trying to sign up for the Student discount with my Unidays account, which I have never used before or applied for spotify premium. Although I am currently using the 7 day trial, when I try to apply the discount, it states "It appears that you are not eligible for the discounted product that you are trying to purchase. If you'd like you can still upgrade your account to premium at any time.".

I am really unsure as to why it will not work, but I thoroughly enjoy using premium and being a student 50% is extremely helpful. Any solution to this problem?

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address.

Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.
