Not getting the premium subscription that I'm paying for

For the second time after paying for premium, it won't show in my app that I'm premium. I've tried all the steps listed out in the help section, making sure I'm signing in with the right user ID, it is linked to the account I paid online with, I have a receipt, I've logged out and logged back in on the app, I uninstalled and then reinstalled the app, logged in again and STILL showing 'free'. This is the second time this has happened to me with Spotify and it feels like fraud that you're taking my money, but not providing the service to me that I've paid for - twice. And you don't provide any method to speak to anyone about how to fix this. Can someone please get in touch and refund the money for the service that you're not providing me?

Hey Ninamaffei, that's not cool! Could you work through these steps again:

 

  • Check your subscription page. Your status should be Premium. 
  • If you're on Premium, try signing out and back into the app. 
  • If it says Free, check the receipt we send to your email inbox. Make sure you're signing in with the username on that receipt. If the username on your receipt is a 10 digit number, please sign in with your Facebook login details.
