Not receiving Discover Weekly playlists - Am I doing something wrong?

I'm a recent user - I bailed from Apple Music after I heard about Discover Weekly.

I've been a (nonpaying for now) user for about 3 weeks and was under the impression I'd start getting the Monday morning playlists after a fortnight. My partner has basically done the same and got her first one this morning but not me.

I'm on a Macbook Pro 13, with El Capitain, though this is the same through the web interface and on iOS so I don't think it's an OS issue.

I'm not connected via Facebook - could that be it?

I've been using Spotify a lot over these three weeks - I work from home and it's been 'on' for about 7 hours a day most days. I have a few playlists set up with a few hundred songs of my chosen music (ie the sort of music I want Spotify to 'learn' from to give me good suggestions).

I'm not really connected with many other users - just two - does that influence anything?

It's a bit of a puzzle. Does anyone have any suggestions as to why I'd be being ignored for the Discover Weekly Playlists? Too many songs?

Welcome to Spotify! So...you should definitely get discover weekly after 2 weeks of using Spotify - check out this link Discover Weekly.

Do you not see the Discover Tab? If not, you did well contacting Twitter. They should respond soon!!

Sorry to hear you're still not having access to your Discover Weekly playlist. 

As our SpotifyCares team mentioned via Twitter, you should see it next Monday if you listen regularly to music and don't use Private Session.

I am having the same problem except I am a subscriber to the family plan. My husband has received his DW and I haven't. Not sure what the issue is. I have been on the lookout for it since I signed up due to all of the hype about it and have checked every week and have yet to see it. It's been three weeks and going on four since I subscribed. The only personalized playlist I receive is the New Release Radar. I am not sure at this point if I am missing even more personalized playlists than just Discover Weekly?
