Offline storage and purchases

Hi, I'm currently traveling through a rather poorly internet covered area and make great use of the offline playlist storage functionality.

I've bumped into the 3000 max item limitation before but manage to keep my playlists organised enough not to suffer to much from these limitations.

I was wondering whether songs that have been purchased count towards this number or not. There are several playlists I would consider purchasing were this not the case.

To my knowledge local tracks are not counted towards the offline sync limits.
