My Question or Issue

I recently deleted my Spotify account in order to create a new one. Spotify already sent the farewell e-mail verification to delete my account and the reactivation link to my old e-mail just in case. I did all the steps. Now I want to create a new account but Spotify still says  my email is still in use but when trying to type my password, it is not even working.

Because they say it is linked to an e-mail, I try to do the "forgot password" but now it says it is not connected to a Spotify account.

Should I wait seven days before creating a new account with the old e-mail? It is confusing.

Thanks for the future help.

Hey @Deliria19, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

When you close your account, you have up until 7 days to change your mind. After that period, you won't be able to reactivate your account anymore.

If you closed your account before the 7 days, then wait until the 7th day and try to create a new account using the email address from the closed account. There is some more information on this here.

Let me know how this goes!
