Old account before facebook

Hello all! I created my spotify way back in 2013ish but never linked my facebook with spotify until around 2015/early 2016. My email for facebook and the old spotify account was the same and originally it created two seperate accounts for spotify. I chose to start using the facebook one as it seemed more official. However, now I wish to access my old account to pull some playlists off of it but cannot log in! Everytime I try too troubleshoot the "forgot password" it tells me that I have to reset my facebook password. Has anyone experianced the same thing and if so any tips to recovering my old account?

Hey @napalashe,

I would suggest changing your facebook email account. That would update your registered email in your facebook created account. Both accounts would have 2 separate email addresses, so in theory, that should let you ask for a password reset, which should give you access to your account again.
