I can’t log in to my Spotify account on my new iPad. I know the user-ID but the email I used when registered is not active any more.
You can change your old, inactive email and update it to your current email.
Steps:
After that it may take a couple of minutes to a couple of days for the account to change your email. Sometimes it wont work on your first attempt but will later on. It varries and takes patience.

Thank you but I don’ know the password either and when I try to get a new one it sends it to my email adress, which is not active any more.
I suggest that you either create a new account with your active email address or to contact spotify. If you create a new account you would have to re-create your playlists you already have or at least make the public on your current account to follow them later. But if you contact spotify you have a chance of a smooth transition of email addresses. The only problem is you will most likely show some sort of verification that it is indeed you.
