Old email new account

Earlier today I permanently closed my account as it was made using my Facebook account which had my main email address associated with it. I wanted to delete the account as I was wanting a fresh account without being linked to facebook, however when I sign up to a new account using my email address it says it's still in use. How long will it take for my email address to become disassociated with my old account?

I suggest you contact support so they can help you and free up the email
