Old facebook password used to login to spotify

Old facebook password used to login to spotify

I have had the same problem as in the topic below:
https://community.spotify.com/t5/Accounts/Multiple-Passwords/m-p/1637122/highlight/false#M269210

Namely, I can still login to Spotify using an old password of my facebook account, which is a password that I am pretty sure has been leaked/hacked. Which is why I moved on to randomly generated more secure passwords.

It is honestly baffling to me that the solution provided in the referenced topic is to create a new account and move stuff over. Because
even if that solution works, it is a workaround and not an actual solution to the underlying problem. Therefore it would be great if you could make the old password stop working. Or just let me decouple facebook or something, but in the end this is really a serious bug that should get fixed and not just swept under the rug for months by suggesting a workaround. That is not what we pay for.

Thanks.

Ok, this is just ridiculous. I posted this question over a month ago and I just don't get any response. So I guess nobody at Spotify cares about this issue. But in the meantime someone other than me keeps accessing my spotify account and I can't block them because you keep accepting my old outdated and obsolete facebook login!

I am giving you another couple of weeks to respond to this. Otherwise I am moving my business (and that of everyone I can convince) to Google Play Music!
