My Question or Issue

I have had my account for almost 10 years but I have suffered from a problem that has become increasingly frequent in the last few;

When I am using my account, it will randomly be used by a device that is not mine. For instance, I will be using spotify on my phone and then stop, when I open the app, my spotify shows it is playing on another phone I have never owned, playing a playlist I have never used. I orginally thought it might have been a joke from friends as I have no idea who else could have accessed my account but I have since changed my password numerous times and it still happens.

Is there a way I can log out of all devices or ban the devices I see using it occasionally? It is a very bizzare problem and I almost feel stupid asking about it, could it even be a bug?

Thanks in advance for any help 🙂

Hey @lucasbanister  Welcome to the Spotify Community!

If you go to your account overview, you will see devices as one of the categories. If you sign out all devices you can remove that user from using your account.

Happy Listening
