Paid for Premium, Still on Free Trial

Paid for Premium, Still on Free Trial

I signed up (and paid for) Spotify Premium, but I'm still in my 30 day free trial. It expires on the 17th and online it says I'll be charged $9.99 if I don't cancel it. Wouldn't it just cancel automatically & then the premium service kick in? I don't want to be charged twice!

Hi @KalinLB! When upgrading from a free trial to a premium subscription you retain all of the time you have left on your trial, and you shouldn't be billed until after that premium time expires and the new subscription time is added on. What you likely saw when you first enrolled for the subscription was a pre-authorization charge that should have cleared within a few business days.

 

If you check your bank statement do you still see that initial charge from Spotify, or did it get dropped? Let me know and we can go from there. Cheers!
