Pay for boyfriend abroad

I want to pay for my boyfriend but when he types in my card details it says coutry details is incorrect

Actually, your boyfriend will not be able to use your credit card to pay for his Premium subscription if he is abroad because the card needs to have been issued in the same country registered to your Spotify account. You can get more information about it here:

As a workaround, I recommend that you could give him a gift card to pay for his Premium or you can take a look at some other different Premium subscription options like Premium Family or Premium Duo*.

*Duo is not available in all countries where Spotify is present.

So even if we work in two different countries i will be able to pay for
spotify duo?

It will work just if your boyfriend lives with you in France and just went to Indonesia temporarily... If you don't live in the same address together, you won't be able to share a Duo or Family plan, unfortunately. And about the gift cards, it will just work if his account is set for the same country where you bought the card.
