Paying Spotify U.S. Premium with a Taiwanese credit card.

So I am currently studying in the U.S. and would like to subscribe to Spotify Premium, but If I pay with my Taiwanese credit card, will Spotify change my country setting (location) to Taiwan? even if I am connecting to a U.S. IP internet? 

I want to access U.S. Spotify Music Library instead of Taiwan's, because some musics I love are not available in Taiwan.

Your payment card and your Spotify country need to match for licensing purposes as that is how Spotify verify you live in the country you say you do. Unfortunately, that does mean as you mentioned if you want to subscribe using that card you need to subscribe to the Taiwan Spotify (and catalogue).

However, if you are in the US there is a way around it. You can purchase Spotify gift cards in a number of high street retailers and redeem those against your US Spotify account:
