Paying for Premium but when I log in it gives me the free account

I just got a new iPhone 7plus and have been configuring all the apps I had before. I pay for spotify premium and it works fine on my laptop.  When I log in to my spotify on my phone it only gives me the free subscription. I cannot figure out how to access my premium on my new phone like I used to on my last phone. Any ideas?

Hey @sgudmundson12,

It sounds like you've got a second account with Spotify. Are there any other email addresses you could have used to register with Spotify? It's worth checking those inboxes to see if you have any Spotify emails -- that will mean your extra account is registered with that email.

• If you don't have another email address, note how you log into the Spotify app usually.
• If you use your Facebook details try entering your Spotify username (if you created one originally).
• If you use your Spotify username try entering just your email address.

When I log in and check out my account on my phone it says

Subscription: Free

When I look at the settings on my computer it says 

Subscription: Premium

I use the same log in email and password for both. Still not sure why this is happening. 

I decided to try connecting spotify to my Facebook account on my computer. I then reinstalled the app on my phone and signed in via Facebook instead and now I have my content. 

Seems like a round about way to have to log in, but it worked.
