Paying for Spotify Duo

I was paying for Spotify premium for a couple years and enjoyed it, and now I’m looking to subscribe to the Spotify duo so my girlfriend can use Spotify as well. However I would prefer to pay using a Visa Mastercard gift card and I’m not sure if that form of payment will be accepted. I did read where visa is accepted but on the visa Mastercard gift card it said it’s not able to be used for reoccurring monthly payments even though I’ve used them before with other services. I guess my question is am I able to use a prepaid visa Mastercard gift card to pay for the Spotify duo subscription? I’ve looked around to an find an answer but didn’t really find anything close to what I was looking for.

To start a monthly subscription like the Duo plan you'll need a payment method that supports recurring payments. You can read more about what requirements your card needs to meet here. 

To see the payment methods available where you are, go to www.spotify.com/premium and continue through to the checkout. You won’t be charged until you submit your payment info.
