Paying for premium, but account says I have a free subscription.

I just got an echo dot from Amazon and you can link spotify but only with a premium account. I have been paying for premium and get all that comes with it, but when I log in to link with my echo, my account says I only have a free subscription and need to upgrade. Very confused.

I am having the same problem, I thought it was because i was using the 7 day trial, so paid for a year and its still telling me I dont have a premium account. Did you manage to solve it ?
