Payment from a country to another

Hello!

My sister recently moved into England for 9 months for a job and I decided to pay for her Spotify Premium for the trip. First I tried sending her a gift card but that didn't work for some reason. Then I logged into her account here, from Finland and tried to make the payment but got denied saying "Country mis-match..." and couldn't complete the payment. Is it possible to pay from a country to another?
