Payment method (puerto Rico)

I just moved to Puerto Rico and I'm trying to change the payment method to the credit card I received here. It keeps telling me it can not update and I need to change my country, but there is no Puerto Rico option. Any one know a way to get around this? I don't have my old bank account so this would be my only form of payment.

What happens if you select your country as the United States?

You could always get a prepaid Visa card and pay for Spotify that way. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Prepaid visa cards don't always work unfortunately, seems to depend on the card issuer (some don't like the 0.00 charge Spotify process to verify the card exists).

Spotify also offers gift cards, have you thought about taking that route?

Spotify has not been launched yet in Puerto Rico , that is why is not on

the countries options. https://www.spotify.com/us/select-your-country/

In order to keep using your Premium account anywhere in the world , it must to

be linked to a payment card  from a launched country and match the account country profile .

So the best thing to do   ‘’ if possible ‘’ , keep the same payment card and profile

or , get a new payment card from a launched country .

Spotify is available in Puerto Rico according to the Overseas territory help page (which classes Puerto Rico under USA):
