Payment not working

Solved!

Payment not working

I am getting frustrated.

My premium is about to expire and it will not let me renew with my American Express gift card that has sufficient funds. It has been telling me for a week now that my payment provider must be having a bad day and payment has failed. I have called Maerican Express and they say there are no problems with the card. I am going to be very angry if I have to redone load my 700 songs

Hi @Justin5545films, welcome to the Spotify Community!

Please try again, this time using different browsers in your computer (and ake sure to clear cache before).

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks for the suggestion but it is still giving me this message: Oops, seems your card or payment provider is having a bad day. Don't worry, no money has been charged. Try again or use another payment method.

That doesn't sound right... I guess it must be a wi-fi problem.

Try to use an other wi-fi connection when you're trying to sign up for Spotify Premium.

You can also try to use your phone network instead for an example.

Once again thanks for the suggestion but I've tried my home wifi and LTE and still the same thing.

The good new is I do not think my Premium is going to run out if I keep trying to pay for it because it surely should have by now. I guess I am just going to have to use a different payment source

No problem, you can see your next billing date and other info on your account here.

There you can also change the payment method if you prefer.

Tell me if Is necessary to say it again in English! I can write it again But i need help

I'm having the same issue with a debit card that has no issues. When I try with PayPal it takes me to a 'Oops somthing went wrong screen'. I've tried all of the recommended fixes & nothing works. Is there somthing wrong with the Website?

Hey @andy187,

If you've already tried using several browsers with clear cache in your computer, I suggest you get in touch with the Spotify Accounts team from any of their social media help sites: @SpotifyCares on Twitter and Spotify Cares on Facebook. Just send them a private message with your account's email address and username and they will take a closer look at this.
