Payment

My card has been cancelled so I won't be able to update my payment method until Wednesday at the earliest. Will my premium account be deleted if payment has been delayed by 5-7 days

Hi @Sophiecowen. If Spotify attempts to charge your card but it is rejected your account will be locked for defaulting on payment. To avoid this I would recommend canceling your subscription before it renews and simply re-subscribing when you have your new payment method. For details on how to cancel, click here. Also keep in mind that all your playlists and settings will remain when your account reverts, you'll just lose access to premium features like ad-free listening and offline tracks.

Hi, please advise, I have a similar problem. My credit card expired when I was on holidays and couldn't update the payement information on time. My account was connected to another one in old family plan and both were on Premium/Family plan. When I got back I have updated the payemnt information with new card details, however only one of the accounts is back to Premium. Also it seems that the connection between the accounts (family) is gone. What should I do to restore the previous status? Thnaks
