Personal account v Artsists account

My Question or Issue

I currently have a premium personal account. I am in the process of loading my own songs onto Spotify using a distributor (Distrukid). My question is:

• Do I need to create a new “Artists” account to claim my songs once loaded by my distributor?
  Or can I claim them using my personal Premium account?

There's only one type of account you can sign up for at Spotify, and that hasn't changed 🙂

You can learn how to get access to Spotify for Artists at https://support.spotify.com/artists/article/getting-access-to-spotify-for-artists/. Your Distributor, DistroKid, can also help you get instant access to it.

As mentioned previously, there's only one type of account. 🙂 So there's no such thing as artist or label accounts.

You can learn how to request access to your artist page through the link I shared above. 🙂 You'll be getting access through your regular Spotify account, just to be clear.
