Play count thru Family Accounts

Hey there,

if a familiy are using a premium family account does the artist receive a play from each family-member or does it count only as a one play?

For example - if all 5 family members are playing the same album does it count as 5 plays or as one play (cause their using one account actually)?

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Community!

Keep in mind that to join a Premium for Family plan, all members need to have their own personal Spotify account. If they don't have an account yet, they'll be given the option to create one as they join. You can read more info in this Spotify Answer and this support site article.
