Playing on more than one device at same time

Hi there,

Just wondering if someone can help me with this.

Basically, me and my other half both use spotify premium throughout the day on seperate devices when at work. Problem is, only one device can be used online at a time which stops the other working.

Would i have to create a whole new account and pay 2 subscriptions or could i upgrade to include a family memeber for an extra £5?

Any help would be appreciated....

You can upgrade to a family plan using your existing account. You would then invite the other person to join your plan. The other person would need their own Spotify account.

If you have any trouble,

I suggest you contact support so they can help you

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address.

Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.

Believe it or not the reason I got spotify in the first place is that we have house parties where we have themed areas/rooms playing different styles of music, are you saying I need to pay for a family plan so I can play more than one playlist during my parties even though I'm the only one playing the music?

This actually defeats the purpose of me paying for Spotify and since this is pretty much all I use it for I might have to rethink it. Please say it isn't so, we only do this maybe 3-4 times a year.
