Hello!
I opened my computer today and my Spotify that usually automatically starts up said my password was incorrect and wouldn't log it. I tried to change my password and it said I was connected with Facebook. Nothing on my facebook changed so I kept trying with my original information. It finally let me login but when I went to my profile all of my playlists were gone and showed 0 followers.
If I search for my name on Spotify I show up with all of my original playlists before any of the happened but none of that is showing up on the left of my screen. I can follow myself and everything.
It seems like when the password thing happened it created a different account for me and now will not log in to my original account.
Ive tried restarting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling Spotify, disconnecting and reconnecting to my Facbook, and have read through the community.
PLEASE HELP.
I have also replied to the non reply email and haven't heard anything for days.

Spotify Case # 01271630 - no reply given. Please fix this. If you have to disassociate my Facebook account, please do. Seems like this issue is happening to alot of people.

I am having this same problem, however I have had contact with support. In my opinion they are really dragging their ass on fixing this and their response time to emails is a joke. They email me and tell me "we can do this or this or this, whichever you want" as far as deleting accounts (so I can set up a new one) and when I reply back and tell them what I want it takes a day or more for a reply and in that reply they don't tell me what they have done so I have no clue if I can set up a new account or not.
I've also asked to have my credit card information removed from my account because I'm sure as hell not paying for a service that I can't access (through no fault of my own) and they won't even tell me if this has been done or not. The lack of a customer service phone number to call (or any phone number for that matter) is mind-boggling as well. The only way they deal with paying customers is through email and they're slow-as-**bleep** to respond to those...

I just got my fixed a couple hours ago so hopefully they will get to you soon. Might as well send an e-mail until you get a response.
Mine has been fixed for a few hours now. I was just frustrated at the long delay between sending an email and getting a reply. All is good now...

I regularly posted to this thread as well as responded to the no-reply support e-mail until I heard back from somone. Be sure to include your ticket number in both.
Thank you jnmccafferty. Peter (the moderator) got back to me and told me to reply to the automated email which I just did. We will see if tomorrow the problem is fixed 🐵
Altogether it took 3-4 days for my account to be corrected so be patient but also persistent in requesting assistance.

Hey there,
Thanks for getting in touch, sorry for the delay.
It appears you Facebook account had become detached and so when you next signed in you created a new account.
Not to worry, I have now transferred your playlists across for you.
As they were created by the old account you will no longer be able to edit them.
Not to worry though if you drag and drop the playlist into the 'New Playlist' option on the desktop (left hand bar)
This will create a new playlist but owned by you so can now edit it.
You can then remove old playlist.
