Made the plunge to spotify premium on the 22/12/15, everything was working fine, until new years day I jumped into my car and I had been logged out of spotify on my phone (offline streaming through the cars aux) so I tried logging in and my email was no longer recognised, so I checked my email and I had an email from spotify telling me my email had been changed.

We wanted to let you know that the email address on your Spotify account has changed recently.

Your previous email address was: darthacey@hotmail.com

It's now: yau_54@hotmail.com

 

 

darthacey@hotmail.com is my only email address, my account has been hijacked. Its not the easiest of tasks to contact support when you no longer have an account to login with, and there's no phone number or online chat. But none the less I used the email address account-details-changed@spotify.com on the 1/1/16, no response so I found the contact form via the forums and sent another email. Still nothing, so I read about other victims and followed the community support staff's suggestion and sent an email to spotify support, good news I now have a ref:_00DD0pxIW._5005716Vbv5

 

I know you guys say wait 24-48 hours but given its been 3 days since the first contact and only 24hrs since the automated reply, do I need to keep waiting?
