Premium Student Discount

Hi, 

 

I currentyl have spotify premium and would like to get the student discount added to my account. I followed the instructions on https://support.spotify.com/us/problems/#!/article/can-I-get-the-us-student-discount-if-i-have-premi... after I login I don't see a place where I can put my College. How can I do this? Thanks for all the help.

Are you able to fill in your college when logging in at the link below?

https://www.spotify.com/us/student/

 

If not, try to verify directly at SheerId.

This is SO frustrating! I am having the same issue. When I use the SheerID link, I am able to verify my school successfully, but it links to a full price plan after that. GRRRRRRR!!! I've emailed customer service and get the standard "check our help files" Email.

There is currently an issue with the student discount sign up.

You will need to contact support.

I've contacted support twice! No response.

It seems to me Spotify could have this fixed by now, or perhaps to soothe the masses who are unable to get the discount, they could provide a promo code or extend the free trial period while they're working this out. So much outcry of a problem, but minimal Spotify response not good for any business.

Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.

If you still have not gotten a reply:

Did you get a confirmation email from the contact form? It should be similar to "Spotify Support Case #XXXXXXX". If so, reply back to that email and tell them you still need help.

 

If you got an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it saying you still need help, even if it's from a no-reply address.

 

If you never got an email, look in your spam folder to see if there is an email in there. Make sure you are checking the email account you used to sign up to Spotify. You can check the email on your account here.
