I know there has been a ton of posts about this but I cannot find something answering the specific question of how Premium and Unlimited are different on a mobile device.
1. Can I still listen to any song on spotify without having to go through the radio?
2. Will I have the ability to retain the playlists that I have already made trough premium?
3. Is the difference between premium and unlimited worth the extra $5 a month?
Thanks so much yall!

Hey there. Welcome to the forums!
1. Yes you can, but limited to playlist and shuffle. Also when you listen music on Unlimited on Phone, Free service is uded. If you do not mind ads on your Desktop, you can change to Free service as it is actually now unlimit (no play limits and works also on phone).
2. You can listen all playlists, but you can't select track by tack, playlists are shuffled, have skip limits in hour and are fillfulled with recommended content.
3. With Premium you get no ads on mobile/tablet. Also you can use better 320 kbps sound and listen Premium only music content and if course offline mode 🙂
Happy Spotifying!
According to https://www.spotify.com/us/account/subscription/cancel/ I will get Ads between songs if I cancel unlimited, but I get ads WITH unlimited as well. Perhaps that text should be updated?

What bugs me about unlimited is that it is giving me ads on my Nexus 7" tablet, despite the fact that I'm using it in my own home via my home wifi.
If I boot-up my laptop and use that, I don't get the ads.
My Nexus doesn't have a 3G card and I don't take it out of the house, so annoying that Spotify assumes it is 'mobile'. Anybody know of a way for me to indicate that this isn't a mobile device?
You will always the same as a free user on tablet as unlimited only adds benefits to a PC, sorry. This chart shows the differences.
