Premium account; Spotify playlists say 'This song is not available'.

Premium account; Spotify playlists say 'This song is not available'.

I've got a premium account (confirmed and logged in) but I can't play most playlists created by Spotify, or most albums. I keep getting the blue band "This song is not available. If you have the file on the computer you can import it." Any tips abt what's happening? It's maddening!

Hey @AudraA,

 

Try a clean reinstall:

 

Log out of Spotify and then close the program.

Uninstall

 

Browse to the cache. The default location should be C:\Users\%Username%\AppData\Local\Spotify\Storage and delete everything inside the folder.

 

Delete the folder C:\Users\%Username%\AppData\Local\Spotify\Users\<random numbers-user>\ There is a folder for each profile that has been logged into Spotify on that computer account.

 

Reinstall.

 

Hopefully that'll fix it.

If not, please post in this thread. It's there where this issue is being looked into.
