Premium account not working

Premium account not working

My premium account is not working. My account on the website says that I have premium but my app isn't working as premium. Won't let me skip, download, etc

Hey @Dylanhieb,

 

It sounds like you've got a second account with Spotify. Are there any other email addresses you could have used to register with Spotify? It's worth checking those inboxes to see if you have any Spotify emails -- that will mean your extra account is registered with that email.

 

  • If you don't have another email address, note how you log into the Spotify app usually.
  • If you use your Facebook details try entering your Spotify username (if you created one originally).
  • If you use your Spotify username try entering just your email address.

I've thought about that and I made sure I was logged into the correct one already so that's not the problem. I tried logging in and out multiple times and also made sure the app was updated.

Ok. Here's what to try if you've upgraded to Premium but don't see it in the app:

 

    • If you're on Premium, try signing out and back into the app.
    • If it says Free, check the receipt we send to your email inbox. Make sure you're signing in with the username on that receipt. If the username on your receipt is a 10 digit number, please sign in with your Facebook login details.

I followed all the tips they sent me and it's still not working in my app. Subscription says free but online it says premium.

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the Knowledgebase or the Spotify Community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address. Spotify Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.
