Premium account question

Hello there. I am signed up for the premium service on spotify but thought the plan was only 9.99 but looking at my bank statement I am being charged 12.99. Is there 2 different rates and if so what am I getting for the higher rate? If nothing I'd like to only be on the 9.99. Please reply. Thank you.

If you pay 12.99 I guess you have an iDevice from Apple?

You probably subscribed for Spotify Premium through the in-app payment. Unfortunately, Apple causes this higher rate.

Please follow the steps below to get the normal price of 9.99.

1. Follow the steps here to cancel your in-app subscription.
2. Go to Spotify.com and subscribe for Spotify Premium.
3. That's it! Enjoy 🙂
