Premium account through KPN --> Paypal still charges

I have a Spotify Premium license through my mobile provider (KPN). However, Spotify still charges my Premium Account through Paypal, even though I'm paying for it on my mobile invoice.

Did you make sure to cancel your previous subscription before going through KPN?

 

 

To cancel your subscription, you need to sign into this page:

 

https://www.spotify.com/accounts/subscription/

After you have made sure you have canceled, you will need to contact support if you have any refund requests:


https://www.spotify.com/about-us/contact/contact-spotify-support/

 

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address.

 

Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.

Yup I canceled my subscription and had a Free Account for a couple of days. Then I followed the proces that the mobile provider (KPN) provided me and upgraded my Free Account to a Premium Account.

When I check my Spotify Account I also do not find any information about having 2 subscriptions or something.

I've got exactly the same problem as you. Have you found a solution yet?

Yup I did! Apparently I was still paying for a friend his Spotify account, which I completely forgot because this was arranged almost 2 years ago. Because of this, I was not able to see this in my own Spotify account, but only in HIS Spotify account. The above mentioned steps provided me with a quick response from Spotify support.
