Hello I can't change my Spotify to a premium account

Hey Danos17!

To preface this, I am in the United States, and thus my solutions and page links will be U.S. based. If you are international, please either Tweet at Spotify, or post the topic again in a few days to see if someone else can help.

How are you going about attempting to sign up for Spotify Premium? Make sure you're going through Spotify's website, not a third party. Also, to make it easier on yourself, I would attempt to do this on desktop. There are several ways to sign up for premium, which I will list below.

#1:

- Go to https://www.spotify.com/us/premium/?checkout=false (or go to https://www.spotify.com/us/ and scroll to the bottom of the page, then select "Get Premium"

- Select "Get Premium"

- Follow the instructions listed

#2: 

- Go to https://www.spotify.com/us/account/subscription/

- Follow the instructions to sign up for premium

Aside from the actual sign up, make sure you are signing up for premium with a good connection, either cellular or wifi. A poor connection can result in pages not loading, therefore preventing you from signing up. It may also be a card issue. If you are using a prepaid gift card (VISA, etc), it may not be accepted. Try buying a Spotify giftcard, if you can find one. I see them in most grocery stores near me, and some convenient stores (CVS, Wallgreens, etc). A $60 card will net you 6 months of premium.
