Premium for Family - country issues!!!!

Hi everyone,

 

I just moved from the UK to Spain. My family (who lives in Spain) and I just discovered the option "Premium for Family" for €14,99/month, which means paying such amount each month and having any number of accounts (up to 7) linked to that payment. Great deal right?!

 

The only thing is...my mother just signed up for "Premium for Family" and she requested that I am one of the 7 members to join her Premium for Family plan. When I click on the link she sent to me... it says I cannot join it as my Spotify account is linked to another country that is not Spain. Indeed, it was linked to the UK. So I changed my payment details (from a UK card to a Spanish card) but I still cannot join it as my profile says my country is UK. I do not have the option on my Spotify profile to scroll down the country tab and change it to Spain!!! I looked at my IP address, and it's a Spanish one! 

Any ideas? Thank you very much

Weird, can you confirm that your payment details have changed to a Spanish card?

Once you change the payment it should let you change the country if you have a Spanish IP address...

 

You should contact with Spotify Consumer Support filling this contact form.

If you receive an automated email that leads you back to the community or help pages, reply to it (even if it's from "no-reply") and one of the Spotify team members will get back to you as soon as possible.

Don't forget to check your Spam Box 😉

Hopefully they will help me solve it! It is weird, the country just changed this morning to Spain, but I can only see it when I click on "edit profile". The main page in my profile still shows "GB" and I still cannot join Premium for Family....argh.

Ok, that's weird...

 

Maybe in a few hours will update... idk...

 

I've never seen that before, if you don't receive a reply from Support, you can try tweeting to @SpotifyCares (ENG) or @SpotifyAyuda (ES).
