Premium for Students

Okay so recently i canceled my spotify premium so i could get my student discount instead. It said my credentials were already in use. Turns out my brother was using them for his account, but I had him cancel it. I went back to spotify about 15 minutes later so I could use my own information for my discount, but it says my credentials are still in use. Can i no longer use my credentials?? Or how long until I can, if possible??

I am having this same issue except I don't know who is using my credentials and how they managed to grab them in the 2 weeks I did not have the student discount active. Spotify has no place to report these issues and that needs to be fixed right away. Posting on an open forum like this means this issue could take months to resolve.

I have canceled my membership all together until this issue is resolved.
