Premium has stopped even thought I have a 1 year subscription

Premium has stopped even thought I have a 1 year subscription

My Question or Issue

I have a 1 year subscription for Premium which is up to March 2020. Today my family plan seems to have reverted to free for all the members. I can see the receipt in my account which is march 2019. I have tried to ensure that I dont have another account via facebook (and I dont).

I dont understand how it worked for 9 months and then stopped.

Any advice / help appreciated.

Hi kjtoregan,

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community. I would recommend getting in touch with Spotify Support, here: https://support.spotify.com/us/contact-spotify-support/. You can select “Subscription,” then “My Premium isn’t working.” If you’ve tried all the suggestions listed there under “Why isn’t my Premium working?,” then click on “I STILL NEED HELP” to chat with Spotify Support, who will hopefully be able to get your Spotify Premium working again.

Hey there @kjtoregan,

Thanks for posting about this here in the Community!

Keep in mind that there isn't a prepaid annual Premium Family subscription available.

However, if you prepaid for a year of Premium Individual and then upgraded to Premium Family, it would explain what happened here.

Due to the difference in price between Premium Individual and Premium Family, your next payment date was earlier than it should have been - there's more info in this Spotify Answer.

You can track all this on your account page, under Your plan.

Hope this clears things up! Don't hesitate to give us a shout if there's anything else - we'll be happy to lend a hand.

Happy Holidays 🙂
