Premium or free?

the subscription page says free but in the app i can choose between songs as much as i want without having any ads.
i used to receive the one add offering spotify premium for 30 days but i dont get any ads anymore.
afaik i have to state account number etc in order to get premium access. so i cant did it acidentally?
i just want to make sure not to do a sub after 30 days.

That is odd. Can you head to your account page and check your status? If it says Free, then perhaps you should reach @SpotifyCares on Twitter so that a member of the Spotify staff can check things on their end.

That would explain it. It means that you are currently trying Spotify Premium. It should also mention the end of your trial period as well 🙂

Hey, no worries!

It depends. If it is the 7-day trial you don't need to cancel. If it's the 30- day trial and your payment info is registered then yes, unless you wish to continue using Premium. However, keep in mind that if you subscribed by iTunes or other service, you will need to cancel through them. If your subscription is through iTunes, please see Apple's instructions for canceling.

If not, you can cancel anytime on Spotify by following the instructions here.
