Premium subscription changed to free

Hi recently i just noticed that my account was changed from premium suscription to free. I've been paying for the subscription monthly and did not switch my account. Can you please help me with this? I checked this via the spotify app and the spotify website

Hello MarkPedersen. Thankyou for the response. Upon checking using the link you provided, it shows premium. But not on my spotify application and on the spotify website.

Are you sure your on the right account?

 

and have you tried a restart of either spotify or your pc?

Same happened to me this weekend and I don't know what to do. I even have a payment receipt from the 21st of March in my account. What can I do?

Hi Roachelina!

 

 

I can onyl suggest that you try the same steps as i mentioned  

 

1st check if you are on the right account (if using facebook login) 

 

2nd try to restart your spotify and/or computer and see if it helps

Yes i am sure. I did not linked my spotify account to facebook so im quite sure im using the correct account.☺️ Also i was able to use my spotify without issues last friday. I just noticed this last saturday.

Could you please try to check the mail used for the Spotify account and check if you have a receipt for this month? this will confirm whether or not u have premium? and then a second question have the money been taken from your bank account (the one for the spotify account) This will push us towards a solution im sure 🙂

After going through all this ordeal, i checked my spotify application again, logged out and logged in afterwards and my subscription reverted back to premium. Im not sure if this is somehow related to an update for the application but it seems like my account is back to normal. Anyways im really thankful for taking time to assist me with this issue MarkPendersen. More power to you and God Bless.☺️

I just had the same problem today. When I signed up for my Fido plan I received Spotify premium and nowe it suddenly changed to free. Any help? I've tried logging out and restarting
