If I use the 3 month offer at $.99 can I then proceed to use my student discount

I'm pretty sure you can get the student discount after the 3 month offer is over. You would need to cancel your current subscription and then resubscribe to the student discount. The student discount first verifies that you are a student through the verification process. The terms and conditions page doesn't say anything about not being able to get it if you have already had other offers.
