Premium to family account

Hi, my roommate set up a family account for us. I already canceled my premium account, but it takes up to 2 more weeks. How do I join the family account when my premium account is still active?

Just ask you roommate to send you an invite to your email from his account by visiting https://www.spotify.com/account/overview/ under "Premium for Family". Then just join, your account will be transfered to family subscription as soon as your premium ends.
